pest control technician

Job details
We are looking for a full time pest control technician, no experience required. You'll need to study for and pass the exam for a pest control license, which we will pay for. You'll be partnered with an experienced technician for training until you're able to work on your own. The successful applicant will be reliable, conscientious, and detail oriented. The most common pests you can expect to deal with are cockroaches, bedbugs, and mice. Each job is unique so you'll need to be able to problem solve. You'll need to have a valid driver's license as you'll be driving a company vehicle from job to job. Some days will require a lot of driving. After you're trained, you'll be working on your own the majority of the time and as such, will need to be able to manage your time well, work without needing constant supervision, and maintain accurate records of each job. Safety is our priority, for both the technician and the customer, so you'll be expected to wear proper PPE, work in a safe manner, and administer treatments safely and as regulated by law. We are a customer oriented business so good customer service is vital. You'll need to be able to communicate with customers about what the issue is, what needs to be done, and what they'll need to do. Wages will start at $18-24/hour.
