*OVERVIEW:*

*GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:*
To ensure facility is kept in a clean and safe condition and that the work is completed in a safe manner.
*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Sweep, mop, scrub and dust changeroom areas, program areas and Administration areas
* Stripping of floors
* Clean and disinfect washroom areas
* Laundry duties as required
* Clean lockers inside and out
* Vacuum carpeted areas
* Remove garbage
* Assist in prep work of wooden floor system
* Ability to work from ladders in a safe fashion
* Snow removal from sidewalks
* Refill dispensers (i.e. soaps, shampoos, paper towels and toilet tissues
* Ability to learn how to operate equipment safely
* *WORKING CONDITIONS:*
* Flexible schedule working mostly nights as well as weekdays and weekends
* Uniform is required for each shift
* Work completed primarily indoors, some outdoor work
* May require some heavy lifting and ladder work
* Supports fulltime cleaners
* Standard First Aid & CPR C
*EDUCATION/TRAINING/QUALIFICATIONS:*
* Secondary School Diploma
* Previous experience an asset
