*Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor* *Job Summary:* We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our warehouse. This role includes managing shipping and receiving processes, supervising warehouse staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to excellence. *Key Responsibilities:* * *Shipping and Receiving:* * Oversee and coordinate all shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods. * Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and damage, resolving discrepancies as needed. * Organize and schedule outgoing shipments, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with company policies. * Maintain up-to-date records of all shipping and receiving transactions. * *Warehouse Operations:* * Supervise daily warehouse activities, including order picking, packing, loading, and unloading. * Implement and enforce standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy. * Conduct regular inventory audits and ensure inventory accuracy. * Coordinate with other departments to meet operational needs and resolve logistical challenges. * *Team Supervision:* * Lead, mentor, and train warehouse staff to achieve performance goals. * Monitor employee performance, providing feedback and support to foster professional development. * Schedule shifts and allocate resources to optimize productivity. * Ensure team compliance with safety standards and company policies. * *Safety and Compliance:* * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. * Conduct regular safety inspections and address potential hazards promptly. * Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations. *Qualifications:* * High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or relevant certification is a plus. * Proven experience in warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving responsibilities. * Strong leadership and supervisory skills. * Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite. * Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. * Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse management. * Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required. *Physical Requirements:* * Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods. * Capability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. *Work Environment:* This position operates in a warehouse environment and may involve exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
