As we expand our services and reach, we are seeking a skilled Commercial Take Off Estimator to join our dynamic team and support our sales efforts. - As a Commercial Take Off Estimator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team by accurately assessing project requirements and providing detailed cost estimates for insulation and heating/cooling equipment installations. You will collaborate closely with sales representatives, project managers, and clients to ensure that proposed solutions meet both technical and budgetary specifications. *Key Responsibilities:* *Project Assessment:* Analyze project blueprints, specifications, and client requirements to determine the scope of work and materials needed for insulation and heating/cooling installations. *Material Quantification:* Utilize takeoff software and manual methods to quantify materials such as insulation, ductwork, HVAC equipment, and other related components necessary for each project. *Cost Estimation:* Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates using our custom quoting software. *Collaboration:* Work closely with the sales team and other estimators to review project requirements, address client inquiries, and develop competitive proposals that align with client needs and budget constraints. *Documentation:* Maintain organized records of project estimates, change orders, and related documentation to ensure transparency, accuracy, and compliance with company policies and procedures. *Continuous Improvement: *Stay abreast of industry trends, building codes, energy efficiency standards, and emerging technologies to enhance estimating methodologies, optimize project outcomes, and drive operational excellence. *What to expect from Greenfoot* * Full-time, permanent position * Competitive wage based on experience * Health and dental benefits * Yeti Recruitment Program * A long-term career with training and continual improvement opportunities * A fun work environment with a safety-orientated company * Company pension plan * Recreational subsidies (gym membership, sports, etc) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year Benefits: * Casual dress * Company events * Dental care * Disability insurance * Discounted or free food * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * Life insurance * Paid time off * RRSP match * Wellness program Schedule: * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
