Peoples including Sq?ewlets, Leq?a:mel, Sema:th, Mathexwi, Kwantlen, and Katzie territories. Mission is a rapidly growing and dynamic community of approximately 41,500 residents, located 15 minutes north of the US border and 70 kilometers east of Vancouver. Although Mission is part of a broader metropolitan area, it still maintains its distinct and welcoming small-town character.Job Description The City of Mission Parks, Recreation & Culture Department is looking for qualified and enthusiastic instructors to teach Land Fitness (Yoga). Ensure a safe environment in the fitness classes by demonstrating proper form, techniques, and modifications with clear and precise instruction. Applicants should have the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.Qualifications The successful candidate must have a recognized fitness certificate approved by a creditor plus recent related experience, including working with specialty fitness classes in a fitness facility, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Group Fitness Instructor registration with BCRPA or CFES and Standard First Aid training is considered an asset.Additional Information Wednesdays: 10:45-11:45amFridays: 5:30-6:30pmSundays: 9:00-10:00amThe hourly rate of pay for this position ranges from $30-$36, plus 4% vacation pay.Click here to apply- LocationMission, BC
