*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Security Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security systems to protect our organization?s assets. This role requires a strong understanding of various security technologies and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to ensure the safety and integrity of our facilities. *Duties* * Design and implement security systems, including CCTV, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and access control measures. * Conduct regular assessments of security systems to detect vulnerabilities and recommend improvements. * Collaborate with IT teams to ensure robust computer networking practices are in place for security purposes. * Read and interpret blueprints to plan the installation of security hardware effectively. * Perform maintenance on electrical and low voltage systems related to security installations. * Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment for the installation and repair of security devices. * Provide training and support to staff on security protocols and system usage. * Telecommunicate with team members for remote troubleshooting and system monitoring. *Qualifications* * Proven experience in security systems installation or a related field. * Strong knowledge of computer hardware, networking, and telecommunications systems. * Familiarity with CCTV systems, IDS, electrical systems, and low voltage installations. * Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation effectively. * Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with various stakeholders effectively. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
