We build solid.* *Opportunity- Carpenter Apprentice* *Responsibilities* ? Assisting supervisors with structural design, planning, layout, and installation. ? Assisting with repair work and installation of doors, windows, drywall, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures as required. ? Ability to operate tools, machines, and other equipment. ? Follow compliance with local building codes, and health and safety regulations. ? Provide excellent customer service. ? Assist with building foundations, installing floor systems, laying subflooring, and erecting walls and roofing systems. ? Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments. ? Other tasks as assigned by the Site Superintendent. *Requirements* · High School Diploma. · Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or experience on a construction site. · Knowledge of Mathematics · Have a growth ?mindset? and have open communication skills. · Experience installing doors, windows, and siding. · Good physical fitness, stamina and strength, good hand-eye coordination. · Ability to work at heights or in confined spaces. · Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time, including climbing, pulling, and lifting heavy objects. · Ability to work independently or as part of a team. · Knowledge in building envelope processes & applications preferred.
