*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, promoting oral health, and ensuring a comfortable experience for our patients. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality care. *Responsibilities* * Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments to maintain patients' oral health. * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. * Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. * Document patient information accurately in Dentrix or other dental software systems. * Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, including orthodontics and pediatrics as required. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols. * Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive patient experience. * Stay updated with advancements in dental hygiene practices and procedures. *Qualifications* * Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. * Experience in a dental office setting is preferred. * Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse patient populations. * Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry is advantageous. * Previous experience in pediatrics or orthodontics is desirable but not mandatory. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages. * Proficient in using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
