*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in creating delicious meals that delight our guests while ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. *Duties* * Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. * Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food storage practices. * Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health and safety regulations. * Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. * Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or needs to management. * Participate in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes or specials. *Experience* * Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. * Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting. * Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. * A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques in the culinary field.
