The division is focused on ensuring all students have the opportunity to succeed and has designated numeracy and student mental health and wellness as division priorities. Northern Lights Public Schools invites applications for the following position: S2425-47 Preschool Assistant - Care to Learn Preschool, Cold Lake Elementary School We are seeking a part-time (.5 fte) position commencing as soon as possible. The assignment includes assisting with the instruction of preschool aged children, Monday to Friday, from 8:30am to 11:45am. Our preschool program offers learning and growth through play opportunities involving music, arts and crafts, physical activity and more. Preference will be given to applicants who have : Early Learning and Child Care Certification - Minimum Level 1 or higher First Aid Certification Experience/training in childcare and related fields A sincere desire to work with preschool aged children Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills How to Apply: Interested applicants are required to create and complete all sections of their portfolio through the 'Apply On-Line' link on our website, in the employment section.
