*Job Overview* We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Purchaser to join our dynamic procurement team. In this role, you will assist in the sourcing and purchasing of materials and supplies essential for our operations. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of supply chain processes and vendor management. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth within the purchasing department. *Duties* * Support the procurement team in sourcing and negotiating with vendors to secure favorable pricing and terms. * Support the procurement team by processing purchase orders. * Work with Accounts Payable to balance and update existing purchase orders. * Collaborate with various departments to ensure material is delivered in a timely manner. * Prepare reports on purchasing activities, vendor performance, and cost analysis. *Requirements* * Familiarity with Jonas Software is an asset. * Basic understanding of vendor management principles and supply chain processes. * Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with suppliers. * Detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational skills. * Ability to work in a fast paced environment is required. * Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required. * Previous experience in purchasing or procurement is a plus but not mandatory.
