We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will efficiently handle customer transactions, ensure a seamless shopping experience, and contribute to store operations. While bilingualism is an asset, it is not mandatory. Proficiency with technology is essential, and experience with Shopify is a plus. Key Responsibilities: * Customer Transactions: Accurately process sales using cash registers, handle various payment methods, and issue receipts, refunds, or exchanges. * Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, address inquiries, and resolve complaints to enhance customer satisfaction. * Efficiency: Ensure swift transaction processing to minimize customer wait times. * Product Knowledge: Stay informed about store products and promotions to assist customers effectively. * Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and assist with stocking inventory as needed. * Technology Use: Operate electronic equipment, including cash registers and POS systems, proficiently. Qualifications: * Previous experience as a cashier or in a related customer service role. * Comfortable with technology; experience with Shopify is advantageous. * Strong communication and multitasking abilities. * Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks. * Availability during store operating hours, including weekends and holidays. * High school diploma or equivalent.
