Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Industrial facility or establishment. Tasks: Compile orders and instructions received from customers. Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization. Monitor movement of supplies and materials between departments. Prepare and submit reports. Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery. Ensure accuracy of completed time sheets, payroll and other summaries. Prepare and maintain progress and other reports. Project management. Train workers in duties and policies. Conduct performance reviews. Dispatch personnel as required by emergency situations. Follow-up on issues with work orders. Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations. Operate radio equipment. Process and transmit information and instructions to co-ordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment. Schedule assignments and co-ordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews and equipment. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?.
