Responsibilities: * Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders * Schedule transport of goods with courier and trucking companies. * Prepare bills of lading, packing lists, enter information for customer and shipping portals. * Correspond with customer logistics companies, couriers, and trucking companies. * Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other Purchase Orders. * Maintain internal record-keeping system. * Record shortages and reject damaged goods. * Route goods to appropriate storage areas * Perform order picking and fulfillment tasks according to established procedures and following customer preferences. * Affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments. * Loading and unloading of goods * Supervise material handlers and helpers. * Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. * Assist production staff as and when needed. Requirements: - Previous experience in shipping and receiving or a related field - Proficiency in using and order fulfillment software - Familiarity with order picking processes and techniques - Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory - Excellent organizational skills to maintain an orderly warehouse layout - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
