As a Production Scheduler, you will play a key role in coordinating and optimizing production activities to meet customer demands and organizational goals. You will work closely with various departments, including production, sales, and procurement, to ensure efficient utilization of resources and timely delivery of products.
*MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Utilize local ERP (*Microsoft Dynamic NAV*) and production software (*OptyWay*) to coordinate the scheduling of all production activities, across business channels. This includes, preparing files, optimizing production and printing tags/labels.
* Pull all required items into production according to production schedules and customer orders.
* Plan and prioritize production tasks to meet deadlines and customer delivery expectations.
* Work closely with production teams to ensure smooth workflow and minimize delays.
* Monitor production progress and identify any potential bottlenecks or issues that may arise including but not restricted to inventory, labor, capacity etc.
* Collaborate with other departments, including sales and procurement, to address rush orders and expedite production as needed.
* Implement strategies to optimize production efficiency and minimize downtime.
* Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on production status and address any concerns or inquiries.
* Any other responsibilities that may come in the purview of the Production team.
*QUALIFICATIONS:*
* Minimum High School Diploma required. A college/university degree in scheduling or related fields is an asset.
* Skilled in interpersonal communication and organization, with strong time management for multitasking in fast-paced team settings.
* Proficient in technology and general office equipment.
* Basic knowledge of ERP systems (Ex: SAP, Dynamic NAV 365, Epicor).
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and production requirements.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
