From major construction projects to regular service work to the safety provided by our fire protection division, we approach our work with an industry-leading commitment to excellence and a keen awareness of our customers' business needs.</p><p>We are seeking a Purchasing officer</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials or business services</li><li>Assess requirements of an establishment to develop specifications for equipment, materials and supplies to be purchased</li><li>Develop specifications for equipment, materials and supplies to be purchased</li><li>Negotiate offers from suppliers</li><li>Consult with suppliers</li><li>Review quotations</li><li>Determine contract terms and conditions</li><li>Establish delivery schedules</li><li>Monitor progress of delivery schedules</li><li>Contact clients and suppliers to resolve problems</li><li>Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization</li><li>Provide customer service</li><li>Plan and organize daily operations</li><li>Review purchase order claims and contracts to determine compliance with company policy</li><li>Assign projects and programs to the purchasing and warehouse departments across the organization</li><li>Coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying, selling and distributing materials, equipment, machinery and supplies</li><li>Manage contracts</li><li>Evaluate daily operations</li><li>Plan and control budget and expenditures</li><li>Experience and specialization:</li></ul><p>Computer and technology knowledge:</p><ul><li>MS Word</li><li>Enterprise resource planning (ERP) software</li><li>MS Office -MS Access -MS Excel -MS Outlook</li><li>MS PowerPoint</li><li>MS Project</li><li>Jonas Software</li><li>Information technology</li></ul><p>Area of work experience: Purchasing, procurement and contracts</p><p>Languages: English</p><p>Education Requirement: Master's degree</p><p>Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years</p><p>Location:</p><ul><li>in office full time</li><li>Work must be completed at the physical location.</li><li>There is no option to work remotely.</li></ul><p>Who can apply to this job?
