*Overview* We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer service. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for quality service. *Duties* * Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. * Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling of items during transit. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any discrepancies. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise. * Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. * Assist in the maintenance of the delivery vehicle, including basic automotive repair as needed. *Skills* * Proficient in commercial driving with a valid driver's license. * Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment is preferred. * Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols. * Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on the road. * Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills. * Basic automotive repair knowledge is a plus for maintaining vehicle functionality.
