Demand & Inventory Planning and will oversee the demand planning function of Amazon accounts across multiple markets, ensuring that our supply chain aligns with customer needs and market trends. This role requires strategic thinking, strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate with various teams to optimize inventory and improve forecast accuracy.If you are proactive, have strong critical thinking & problem-solving skills, excel at identifying trends & deriving actionable insights from data, can take full ownership with limited supervision, can prioritize tasks on hand, and can comfortably work in a cross-functional role in a fast-paced team environment, then this could be a great fit for you! Your role?- Develop and maintain comprehensive demand forecasts for Amazon accounts using historical sales data, promotional planning information, new product launch plans, considering seasonality and market trends.- Partner with sales, marketing, product development and supply chain teams to gather insights and ensure alignment on demand planning initiatives. - Assist our logistics and merchandising team with Purchase Order processing and delivery. - Monitor inventory levels and turnover rates, implement strategies to minimize stockouts and reduce excess inventory.- Analyze sales data and market trends, identify reasons for gaps in forecasting and make informed recommendations and adjustments to forecast plans.- Prepare reports on forecast accuracy, inventory status, demand trends, and presenting findings to senior management.- Identify opportunities to enhance demand planning processes for greater efficiency and accuracy. What we?re looking for?- University or college degree in business, science/engineering (MBA is an asset)- Strong aptitude for numbers, patterns, and forecasting.- Strong Excel fundamentals are required (PowerBI experience will be an asset)- Knowledge about digital analytics (conversion metrics is a plus)- Ability to build and maintain excellent internal, cross-functional working relationships Curious?
