*Job Description:* We are looking for a passionate, customer-oriented, and motivated Salesperson to join our furniture store team. As a Salesperson, you will be the face of our company, providing excellent customer service and helping customers find the perfect furniture for their needs. You will assist customers through every stage of the purchasing process, from product selection to payment, ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. *Key Responsibilities:* * *Customer Service*: Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner. Assist customers in finding furniture that suits their style, space, and budget. Offer personalized recommendations based on their needs and preferences. * *Sales*: Achieve and exceed sales targets by promoting and upselling furniture products, accessories, and services. Utilize product knowledge to suggest complementary items. * *Product Knowledge*: Stay up-to-date on the latest furniture trends, product specifications, and store inventory to effectively answer customer questions and provide informed advice. * *Product Presentation*: Assist with visual merchandising, maintaining clean and attractive displays, and ensure that inventory is stocked daily as required. * *Customer Orders*: Process customer orders, including taking measurements, discussing delivery options, and coordinating the logistics of the sale. Assist with financing and warranty options where applicable. * *Follow-Up*: Maintain relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and encouraging repeat business. Follow up on deliveries and customer inquiries. * *Team Collaboration*: Work closely with other sales team members and store management to achieve team goals and maintain a smooth store operation. * *Cash Handling*: Process payments, including cash, credit, and financing options, and ensure accurate record-keeping. *Qualifications:* * Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in the furniture or home décor industry. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to understand customer needs and offer solutions. * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. * A passion for home design and furniture. * Basic math and cash-handling skills. * High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in sales or design is a plus. * Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays. *Preferred Skills*: * Knowledge of furniture design trends, materials, and styles. * Experience with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software. * A Diploma in Interior Decorating or Visual Merchandising is a strong asset. *Physical Requirements*: * Ability to stand for extended periods. * Ability to lift and move furniture pieces when necessary. * Comfortable assisting with store maintenance tasks.
