The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and baking, with a commitment to delivering high-quality baked goods. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Baker, you will play a vital role in creating delicious products that delight our customers. *Duties* * *5 or 6 am start time* * Prepare and bake a variety of goods (muffins, cookies, scones, cakes, cakes, etc.) according to established recipes and standards. * Prepare sandwiches. * Ensure all baked items meet quality and presentation standards before serving or packaging. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines. * Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock. * Food costing. *Qualifications* * 2+ Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role within the food industry. * Availability to work on weekends. * Have a valid work permit to work in Canada. * Completed baking and/or pastry program (preferred). * Food safe certification (preferred). * Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. * Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. * Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. * Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. * Familiarity with various baking techniques and equipment is essential. * A passion for cooking and creating unique baked goods is highly desirable.
