*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong focus on customer service, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff. *Duties* * Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner. * Ensure that all orders are accurate and meet presentation standards before serving. * Assist with food preparation as needed, including plating and garnishing dishes. * Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate order timing and special requests. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including clearing tables and resetting for new guests. * Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling procedures. * Operate the POS system for order tracking and communication with the kitchen. * Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly. *Requirements* * Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred but not mandatory. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. * Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling safety standards. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. * Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift items as necessary in a busy kitchen environment. * A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
