*Overview* We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic financial team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with a focus on accuracy and compliance. This role is essential for maintaining the financial health of our organization and will involve managing various accounting functions, including bank reconciliations, budgeting, and financial auditing. *Responsibilities* * Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts receivable and accounts payable. * Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies are resolved. * Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage to manage financial data effectively. Willing to learn new software. * Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support strategic planning. * Perform financial auditing to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. * Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency. * Generate financial reports for management review, highlighting key metrics and insights. *Experience* * Proven experience in an accounting role or similar position within the financial services industry. * Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms. * Strong understanding of bank reconciliation processes and financial auditing practices. * Experience with budgeting and forecasting is highly desirable. * Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. * Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
