*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition after accidents or wear. This role requires a strong understanding of auto body repair techniques, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. *Duties* * Assess vehicle damage and determine necessary repairs. * Perform bodywork including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening. * Utilize various tools and equipment such as welders, sanders, and paint sprayers. * Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and applying primer as needed. * Mix and apply paint to match the original color of the vehicle. * Ensure that all repairs meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment. * Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding repair progress. *Requirements* * Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role. * Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. * Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship. * Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as repair manuals and schematics. * Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose issues accurately. * Knowledge of safety procedures in an automotive repair environment. * A valid driver's license is preferred. * Certification from an accredited automotive program is a plus but not required.
