*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to security, with responsibilities that include monitoring premises, preventing losses, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. *Responsibilities* * Monitor and patrol designated areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. * Operate CCTV systems and surveillance equipment to ensure comprehensive coverage of the premises. * Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and access points to identify potential security risks. * Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing immediate assistance as needed. * Enforce company policies and procedures regarding security measures and emergency protocols. * Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or provide information. * Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes. * Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or fraud attempts and taking appropriate action. *Skills* * Strong knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies. * Familiarity with law enforcement practices and procedures is preferred. * Proficient in operating CCTV systems and other surveillance technologies. * Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times. * Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members, clients, and law enforcement personnel. * Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally while maintaining a high level of integrity. * Physical fitness to perform patrol duties effectively, including standing for extended periods and responding quickly in emergencies.
