Education: Bachelor's degree. Work setting: Prosthetics and orthotics laboratories. Commercial dental laboratory. Tasks: Assign health care workers to specific projects and programs. Coordinate the delivery of health care services within the department. Direct and control daily operations . Plan and control budget and expenditures. Plan and organize daily operations. Review budgets and spending to ensure departments operate within funding limits. Establish and implement policies and procedures for delivery of health care services. Hire, train, direct and motivate staff. Develop evaluation systems to monitor health care services. Oversee the analysis of data and information. Co-ordinate work of doctors, nurses and other staff. Consult with boards of directors, senior managers and government officials. Print in 3D. Supervise surgical procedures. Operate computerized tomography (CT) scanners. Design dental devices. Computer and technology knowledge: Mastercam CAD/CAM. Control systems: Direct digital control system. Communication systems experience: Citizens band (CB) radio. Medical specialization: Dentistry.
