Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Dusty. Hot. Noisy. Dirty. Work setting: Repair. Tasks: Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products. Start up, shut down, adjust and monitor robotic welding production line. Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment. Operate machines and equipment. Installing machinery and equipment. Plan repair work to be performed. Area of specialization: Truck-trailer repair. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Sitting. Overtime required. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Safety glasses/goggles.
