Job details
Buffalo Mountain Lodge in Banff, AB is hiring for a full-time line cook to start right away!
*Primary Function:* To uphold high standards of food quality, presentation, and kitchen cleanliness, consistently delivering exceptional dishes in line with CRMR standards.
*Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Follow recipes, portion sizes and presentation guidelines.
* Operate cooking equipment including grills, fryers, ovens.
* Maintain clean workstation, equipment and kitchen areas.
* Comply with all sanitation, safety and hygiene procedures.
* Communicate order changes, shortages or concerns promptly.
* Assist with prep work during slower periods.
* Adhere to grooming standards and kitchen uniform policies.
* Work positively in fast-paced environment
* Additional duties as assigned.
*Requirements/Experience:*
* Commercial kitchen experience, culinary internship students considered.
* Culinary education is an asset.
* Exceptional efficiency, attention to detail
* Professional team player with problem solving abilities.
* Food safety aware with ability to stand for long periods.
* Available to work variable hours, weekends, holidays.
