Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Restaurant. Hotel, motel, resort. Tasks: Organize the operations of a cocktail lounge or bar. Clean bar area and wash glassware. Serve food or snacks. Hire and dismiss staff. Supervise food and beverage servers and other staff. Store beverage and food products. Order bar stock and maintain inventory and control of bar stock. Address customers' complaints or concerns. Prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer and non-alcoholic beverages. Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons. Resolve conflict situations. Supervision: 5-10 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Responsible Beverage Service Certificate. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Standing for extended periods. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Are you willing to relocate for this position?.
