We are committed to providing exceptional dental care and creating a comfortable experience for our patients. *Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office by managing patient appointments, handling administrative tasks, and providing excellent customer service. *Duties* - Greet patients and visitors with a welcoming demeanor - Schedule and confirm patient appointments using Dentrix or similar software - Manage patient records and update electronic medical records accurately - Answer phone calls and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate staff member - Process insurance claims and verify insurance coverage for patients - Maintain a clean and organized front desk area - Assist with billing and payment processing - Coordinate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure efficient patient flow *Requirements:* * Professional demeanor and appearance * Experience with dental software and Microsoft Office * Strong communication skills and ability to multitask * Ability to work efficiently in a team and under pressure * Previous experience in a dental setting is an asset * Bachelor's Degree (required) * 3 year of experience as a dental receptionist (required) *Job Types:* * Full-time *How to Apply:* Please send your resume and a cover letter detailing your experience and qualifications to *info@ottawafamilydental.com.* *Work Location:* In person Job Type: Full-time Pay: $21.00-$30.50 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * On-site parking Schedule: * Monday to Friday Education: * Bachelor's Degree (required) Experience: * Dental receptionist: 2 years (required) Language: * French (required) Work Location: In person
