Position #: 9001791 Expected Start Date: January 01, 2025 Union: HSAS Facility: St. Peter's Hospital - SHA City/Town: Melville Department: Ambulance - Land Type: Full-time temporary Expected Up to Date: February 01, 2026 FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days, Nights, Weekends, Standby Hours of Work: 42 shifts of 12 hours per 12 weeks Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: No Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Emergency Medical Technician $29.909 to $36.572 Travel Required: No Job Description: The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) reports to the Director of Emergency Medical Services and when on site in a facility to the designated Supervisor/Charge Nurse. EMTs provide direct pre-hospital, emergency and patient care. They assist with the operations of the facilities they serve. The only restriction that has been identified governing their participation in these departments is; No duties can restrict them from responding immediately to any ambulance calls. EMTs shall abide by the Saskatchewan Health Authority and its Affiliates Mission, Vision, Values, Policies and Procedures.
