Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Restaurant. Tasks: Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization. Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods. Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances. Inspect kitchens and food service areas. Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment. Clean kitchen and work areas. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available. Support for Veterans: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans . Supports for visible minorities: Applies hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities (for example: anonymizing the hiring process, etc.).
