Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Locksmithing and safe repair. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Adjust locks. Install locks . Install safes and vaults. Read blueprints to determine work requirements . Repair and service safes and vaults. Repair locks. Instruct apprentices. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Locksmith Trade Certification. Equipment and machinery experience: Power tools. Area of specialization: Locksmith. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to distinguish between colours. Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Fast-paced environment. Hand-eye co-ordination. Manual dexterity. Sitting. Standing for extended periods. Work under pressure.
