*Overview* Aspen Trails Dental is seeking a part-time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team for three days a week, with the opportunity to transition to four to five days a week starting in March 2025. The schedule includes alternating Mondays, Tuesdays from 8 AM to 4 PM, Thursdays from 12 PM to 8 PM, Fridays from 8 AM to 4 PM, and Saturdays from 8 AM to 2 PM. Additionally, there is the possibility of adding Wednesdays to the schedule starting in March 2025. This position requires availability for one to two evenings each week, as well as one Saturday per month. *Responsibilities* * Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health. * Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. * iTero health scans * Apply preventive materials such as fluoride treatments. * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. * Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes. * Assist in the management of the dental office, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow. * Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a seamless patient experience. * Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies. *Experience* * Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred, with exposure to various specialties such as Invisalign being a plus. * Familiarity with dental software programs, particularly Dentrix, is highly desirable. * Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry. * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
