*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting industrial equipment, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet safety and aesthetic standards. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. *Duties* * Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as necessary. * Operate power tools and hand tools to perform painting tasks efficiently. * Apply paint using various techniques such as spraying, rolling, or brushing to achieve desired finishes. * Fabricate and assemble components as needed for painting projects. * Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety protocols. * Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, reporting any malfunctions or needed repairs. * Utilize lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste during the painting process. * Operate forklifts and cranes safely when moving materials or finished products within the facility. *Skills* * Proficient in using power tools and hand tools related to painting tasks. * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. * Experience with welding techniques is a plus for fabricating parts as needed. * Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices to optimize workflow efficiency. * Ability to operate forklifts and cranes safely in an industrial setting. * Knowledge of machining processes may be beneficial for certain projects.
