<strong>Reporting to the Project Director</strong><span><span>, the Project Manager is responsible for the complete management of deconstruction and decontamination projects. He/she oversees all stages, from planning to delivery, while respecting costs, deadlines and quality. He/she represents the company to clients and coordinates the resources required at each stage.<br><br>Qualifications and Skills</span></span><ul><li><strong>Education:</strong><span> </span>Bachelor?s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or equivalent experience.</li><li><strong>Experience:</strong><span> </span>5+ years in project management, ideally in deconstruction, decontamination or civil engineering.</li><li><strong>Technical Skills:</strong><span> </span>Knowledge of deconstruction/decontamination processes and large-scale projects.</li><li><strong>Tools:</strong><span> </span>Proficiency in Office suite and management software (e.g.: Planswift, Adobe).</li><li><strong>Certifications:</strong><span> </span>ASP Construction card and other safety certifications.</li><li><strong>Interpersonal skills:</strong><span> </span>Leadership, organization, priority management and communication.</li><li><strong>Languages:</strong><span> </span>French required, English an asset.</li></ul><span><span>Advantages</span></span><ul><li>Competitive salary with possibility of annual bonus</li><li>Benefits</li><li>4 weeks of vacation</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Continuing professional development (training, certifications)</li><li>Modern and dynamic environment</li></ul><span><span>Location</span></span><p>Montreal</p> <br> Main Responsibilities<ul><li><strong>Project management:</strong><span> </span>Coordinate and supervise the stages of the project, from design to completion, in collaboration with internal teams and subcontractors.</li><li><strong>Planning and coordination:</strong><span> </span>Organize kick-off and follow-up meetings. Ensure compliance with technical, time and financial constraints.</li><li><strong>Cost and deadline monitoring:</strong><span> </span>Manage costs, review budgets and negotiate with subcontractors. Ensure compliance with the schedule.</li><li><strong>Analysis of technical documents:</strong><span> </span>Review specifications, plans and geotechnical studies to fully understand the work and its issues.</li><li><strong>Work procedures:</strong><span> </span>Write and supervise the work methods applied on the site.</li><li><strong>Logistics and Purchasing:</strong><span> </span>Identify material needs, obtain quotes, order and track deliveries.</li><li><strong>Permits:</strong><span> </span>Obtain all required authorizations from local authorities (temporary occupancy, fire safety, etc.).</li><li><strong>Daily Monitoring:</strong><span> </span>Collaborate with superintendents to monitor progress of work and ensure smooth communication with the client.</li><li><strong>Changes and Claims:</strong><span> </span>Manage modifications, process amendments and resolve disputes.</li><li><strong>Reporting and Billing:</strong><span> </span>Prepare monthly statements, approve invoices and monitor project finances.</li><li><strong>Post-mortem and Profitability:</strong><span> </span>Analyze projects after completion to learn useful lessons.</li></ul>
