*Cornwall Animal Hospital in GTA/Halton hills Area is highly interested in hiring a Veterinary Tech/Assistant to assist in the care of our furry patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for:* Assisting the Veterinarian with routine patient appointments and surgical procedures Cleaning and storing the surgical instruments when the procedure is over Preparing appointment rooms prior to scheduled patient visits Answering phone calls and using Avimark Making sure clients are checked in and out General reminders for vaccination due dates and appointments Maintaining general cleanliness of the hospital and restocking supplies New graduates are welcome. Collaborate with Veterinarians to develop training courses for staff members Prepare appointment rooms prior to scheduled patient visits Excellent knowledge of Avimark, animal handling techniques, work flexible hours and proven customer service is valued.
