<p><span><strong>Discover positive energy here! </strong><br><em>Harnessing the power of the sun and wind to generate something big.</em><em> </em><br><br><span>Your mission should you accept it:</span></span></p><p><span>Reporting to the Project Manager, the function of the environmental coordinator is to support and monitor the work carried out on sites where wind farm projects are being built in Quebec, from Beaupré to Gaspé. The role requires interacting with a wide range of stakeholders, from different levels and positions to ensure the project proceeds in accordance with the conditions set by regulatory authorities.</span></p><p><span><br><strong>Haute-Chaudière</strong> <br> Three municipalities, Audet and Frontenac and Lac-Mégantic located in the MRC du Granit in the administrative region of Estrie will host wind turbines as part of this Project which will be connected to a Hydro-Québec electrical substation in service in the city of Lac-Mégantic, on rue Pie-XI. The project will include approximately 20 wind turbines and is scheduled to be commissioned by the end of 2026.<br><br></span></p><p><span></span></p><p><span><span>Do you have what it takes? </span>Positive energy and...<em> </em></span></p><ul><li><span>Hold a technical or university degree in environment, engineering, forestry, biology or other relevant field;<br></span></li><li><span>Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years? experience in a similar position;<br></span></li><li><span>Demonstrate advanced knowledge of environmental standards to be respected on construction sites (RADF);<br></span></li><li><span>Know ArcGIS software and have good technological skills;<br></span></li><li><span>Demonstrate an advanced level of bilingualism in English and French, written and spoken;<br></span></li><li><span>Experience in the construction industry and its health and safety standards, an asset.</span></li></ul><p><span><span>What you will do to complete this mission successfully:</span></span></p><ul><li><span>Ensure planning, environmental monitoring of wind turbine construction work, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and monitoring of current mandates (deadlines and budgets)<br></span></li><li><span>Ensure environmental monitoring of wind turbine construction work, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team<br></span></li><li><span>Validate compliance with specifications, monitoring plans, laws, regulations and conditions of regulatory authorities<br></span></li><li><span>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of appropriate legislation<br></span></li><li><span>Liaise with clients, subcontractors, approval authorities, project stakeholders<br></span></li><li><span>Collaborate in obtaining environmental permits and certificates of authorization<br></span></li><li><span>Propose solutions to problems related to the environment<br></span></li><li><span>Participate in the development of new tools and services offered by the company<br></span></li><li><span>Collaborate in obtaining exemptions or additional authorizations, if necessary<br></span></li><li><span>Participate in site meetings<br></span></li><li><span>Write monitoring reports<br></span></li><li><span>Perform other related duties.</span></li></ul><p><span>Borea values are part of the energy landscape.
