*Overview* We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both residential and industrial painting, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint and finishes, and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service. If you have experience in construction painting and enjoy working in diverse environments, we encourage you to apply. *Responsibilities* * Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections. * Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. * Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements. * Perform drywall repairs as needed to ensure a smooth finish. * Use hand tools and rigging equipment safely and effectively during projects. * Provide exceptional customer service by communicating with clients about their needs and preferences. * Execute caulking tasks to seal gaps and improve the appearance of finished work. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of projects. * Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of jobs while adhering to safety standards. *Skills* * Strong knowledge of construction painting methods and materials. * Experience with residential painting projects, including interior and exterior work. * Familiarity with industrial painting practices is a plus. * Ability to read blueprints accurately for effective project execution. * Competence in using hand tools relevant to painting tasks. * Excellent customer service skills to foster positive client relationships. * Attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality finishes. * Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.
