*Job Overview* Morrice Transportation is seeking a skilled 310T truck and trailer mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in truck and trailer repair and maintenance, This role requires hands-on experience and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to maintain our fleet. *Requirements:* * 310T mechanic license in good standing from the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario, or 3rd year apprentice with the ability to obtain certification while employed. * Must have the necessary tools and in good working order; * Ability to work independently and as part of a team, contributing to a positive and productive work environment. * Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, capable of identifying and resolving complex mechanical issues on electrical, hydraulic, power train, suspension, brake, and air systems. * Perform regular preventative maintenance tasks and conduct and complete safety inspections. * Knowledge of maintaining and repairing Volvo, Freightliner and International trucks is a significant advantage. * Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. AZ endorsement preferred. * Follow all attendance and punctuality standards. * Follow all work rules and follows directions from Company management. * Maintain a clean, efficient work area and assist in keeping the shop neat and organized Job Type: Full-time Pay: $27.00-$40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance * Vision care Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Overtime * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2025-01-13- LocationWindsor, ON
