*Overview* COMTECH is seeking a skilled and experienced Drafting Supervisor to lead our drafting team in producing high-quality designs and schematics. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various drafting software and methodologies, ensuring that all projects meet industry standards and client specifications. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail. *Responsibilities* * Oversee the drafting deliverables, managing daily operations and ensuring timely project completion. * Collaborate and coordinate with project stakeholders (internal and external) to develop detailed drawings and using CAD software within project timelines. * Review and approve drafts created by team members, providing constructive feedback for improvement. * Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all drafting activities. * Train and mentor junior drafters on best practices and software usage, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. * Maintain organized records of all drafts, revisions, and project documentation. *Experience* * A diploma or degree in Engineering Design Technology or related field. * 5+ years drafting experience * 2+ Years experience in supervisory role within a drafting or engineering environment is required. * Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and MicroStation, and other relevant tools. * Experience in Telecommunications is considered an asset. * Strong understanding of drafting principles and techniques, with the ability to draft complex designs accurately. * Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
