Pipefitter/ Apprentice Pipefitter Terrafirma Resources Leslieville , AB *Job Description* Terrafirma Resources is seeking a competent Pipefitters and Apprentices to support the activities of our growing Field team. Working out of our Rocky Mountain House & Leslieville Fabrication Facilities as well as various on site locations (Pipeline , Facility Construction & Turnarounds) with ongoing projects. the Pipefitter/ Labourer ensures an organized work environment and adequate maintenance of equipment and materials. *Responsibilities:* * Maintaining cleanliness of work areas. * Bolting/un-bolting flanges/valves & PSV's * Hydrotesting/ Painting completed spools * Knuckle Picker use & piping install (Rigging knowledge/experience an asset) * Measuring & Cutting Piping * Various labourer tasks * Maintaining stock levels of materials and supplies. * Loading and unloading trucks of material * Receiving Material ( Cataloguing heat numbers & MTR's) * Maintaining knowledge of various types of metal. * Operating various tools and types of equipment. * Attending on-site & in house safety meetings and following Terrafirma's Safety Policies & Procedures. * ability to work away for extended periods of time. *Requirements:* * At least 2 years work experience in a similar role * Wellsite construction experience an asset * Journeyman/ Apprentice is preferred * Proficient knowledge of all aspects of piping and associated processes. * Knowledge of pipefitter trade related tools * Basic English reading and writing skills. * Physically strong, agile and dexterous , able to lift 50 lbs. * Reliable , Punctual . * Ability to work in a standing position for extended hours. * Comfortable with working on elevated surfaces. * Resilient to working in adverse climatic conditions. * Knowledge of Isometric prints and an ability to read and interperet drawings. * Local to Rocky Mountain House area is preferred. *Certifications/Licenses* * Drivers License * H2S * CSO or PCST or CSTS or eGSO * First Aid w/ CPR an asset * Confined Space an asset * Fall Protection an asset * Site-Specific Training will be provided Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Company events * Dental care * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * Flexible schedule * Life insurance * Vision care Schedule: * 10 hour shift * 12 hour shift * Day shift Ability to commute/relocate: * Rocky Mountain House, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Education: * Secondary School (preferred) Experience: * Steamfitter/Pipefitter: 2 years (preferred) * Wellsite Construction: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Drivers License (required) Work Location: On the road- LocationRocky Mountain House, AB
