*About You*:
Are you an enthusiastic, results-driven professional with a passion for cultivating relationships and helping businesses create inspiring workspaces? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Our thriving office furniture company is seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Executive to join our dedicated team based in our *Kelowna* store location. This is a full-time position, and it will require travel of up to 40 to 50% to cover *Northern BC* and other outlying areas.
*The Account Executive Position:*
The Account Executive position includes a base pay, a competitive commission structure, and allowances. You will play a crucial role in driving business growth and expanding our customer base. Your primary responsibilities will include:
1. *Business Development:* Identify and pursue new business opportunities through targeted prospecting, networking, and referrals. Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop strategies for lead generation and customer acquisition.
2. *Consultative Selling:* Understand the unique needs and challenges of each client. Provide expert advice and guidance on selecting the most suitable office furniture solutions that align with their budget and preferences.
3. *Relationship Management:* Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with clients. Ensure customer satisfaction by providing exceptional post-sales support and addressing any concerns promptly.
4. *Quotation and Proposal Generation:* Prepare accurate and compelling quotations and proposals in response to client inquiries. Collaborate with internal teams to create customized solutions that meet client requirements.
5. *Market Insights:* Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging market demands. Leverage this knowledge to provide valuable input to the product development and marketing teams.
6. *Support:* Provide support to our in-store team when not prospecting or when asked by the manager.
7. *Administrative Allocation:* Maintain and complete all orders, quotes and any other necessary paperwork related to each sale. Diligently execute any other tasks assigned by the National Director of Sales or the Area/Store Manager.
*Requirements:*
- *Proven Sales Success:* Minimum of 3 years of successful experience in B2B sales, preferably in office furniture, interior design, or related industry. Knowledge of the Northern BC market is an advantage.
- *Customer-Centric Approach:* Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- *Strong Communication Skills:* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
- *Result-oriented:* Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- *Team Player:* Collaborative and able to work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
- *Industry Knowledge:* Familiarity with office furniture products, trends, and ergonomic best practices is a plus.
- *Own Transportation:* Must have a reliable vehicle with a valid driver?s license and business auto insurance
