Competitive compensation. ? Training. *The Opportunity:* Solvest is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager with a strong background in civil works to join our growing team! Since Solvest began operations in 2015, we have taken on and completed larger and more complex and exciting projects as we push renewable energy in northern and remote regions. Solvest?s goal is to be the leading engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company for microgrids in northern Canada and Alaska, a company based in the North, for the North. As a Project Manager at Solvest you will play a pivotal role in supervising and coordinating the planning and construction of large-scale solar projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You will work closely with our dedicated team to uphold company standards and drive excellence in renewable energy project management. If you are an ambitious and progressive professional and are looking for your next adventure in renewable energy, we want to hear from you! *This position is based out of our Eastern office in Cobourg, Ontario, with the option to mainly work remotely from the lower Ontario area (Toronto through Ottawa). This position will require spending approximately 30% of the time traveling to and working from remote communities in Nunavut. * *Employment Status:* Permanent Full Time ? 40 hours per week *Wage Range:* $40 - $52 per hour (based on experience) + annual profit-sharing bonus based on company performance. *Leave Entitlement: *Four weeks of paid vacation to start + 5 paid sick days per year. *As part of our commitment to employee wellness, we provide the following benefits: * Employer paid comprehensive health benefits package after 3 months (including unlimited access to virtual health care, mental health care and wellbeing, and virtual pharmacy via Dialogue); flexible work arrangements and more! *Job Description (high level summary - not inclusive of all duties): * * Supervise and coordinate the planning and construction of large and remote solar projects. * Ensure projects are delivered safely on time, and within budget, adhering to company standards and regulatory requirements. * Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulators to facilitate project execution and maintain effective communication channels. * Utilize project management tools and systems to track key performance indicators and ensure project success. * Conduct regular performance management reviews and provide support and mentorship to team members. * Coordinate onsite construction activities and perform quality control and assurance tasks. * Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports on project progress, budget, and safety performance. *Required Skills/Qualification:* * Some level of education in Civil Engineering Technology or Construction Management. * Proven experience in project management, preferably in the renewable energy sector. * Strong understanding of construction processes and regulations, with a focus on safety and quality. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels. * Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Acumatica ERP, SmartSheet). * Project Management Professional (PMP) certification would be considered an asset. *Additional Requirements:* ?
