Through their dedication, passion, and expertise, teachers empower learners to reach their full potential and navigate the complexities of the world with confidence and understanding. <p>POSTING DETAILS <p><p> Position - Teacher Librarian<p> Start Date - Immediately<p> Hours - Full-time (1.0FTE) <p> Employment - Permanent (Continuing Assignment) <p><p>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS <p><p> Bachelor of Education (Elementary / Middle / Secondary) degree, or equivalent training.<p> A valid Teacher Regulation Branch Certificate, or in progress<p> Ability to understand and effectively carry out general oral and written instructions with minimum supervision.<p> Ability to communicate effectively using courtesy and tact in the explanation and exchange of information.<p> Ability to determine, judge and select an appropriate course of action within limits of established methods and procedures.<p> A major (18 credits) or diploma in Teacher-Librarianship.<p> Knowledge of modern information technologies and computerized resource center management systems.<p><p>For your application to be considered, all required documents must be included: <p><p> Resume<p> Cover Letter (please elaborate on your experience and teachable areas)<p> A copy of your transcript (official or unofficial) for your program<p> A copy of the credential received after completing your teaching program<p> A copy of your Certificate of Qualification (from the TRB to teach in BC)<p> Email addresses for a minimum of three references (administrators from your most recent teaching role)<p><p>PLEASE NOTE <p><p> The starting annual salary for this School Teacher position ranges from $50,000 to $104,000, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.<p> In accordance with the Criminal Record Review Act, successful applicants will be required to consent to a Criminal Record Check prior to employment. <p> We thank you for your interest in the Langley School District; however, only those persons selected for interviews will be contacted.- LocationLangley, BC
