Education: College/CEGEP. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Remote location. Rural area. Various locations. Tasks: Operate various vehicles and equipment. Read blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements . Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles). Utility tree worker safety Certification - public works. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to distinguish between colours. Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Hand-eye co-ordination. Physically demanding. Work under pressure. Own tools/equipment: Gloves. Safety equipment/gear. Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication. Excellent written communication. Flexibility. Initiative. Team player. Resourcefulness.
