In return, we?ll help you build a career that you can feel passionate about.</span></span></p><div><div><div><div><b>Job Summary</b></div> </div><div><p> </p><p>As a <b>Necropsy Technician </b>for our team located in Senneville, you will mainly be responsible for performing the post-mortem examination of animals while following the ethical regulations and directives from study plans. Your contribution will ensure the health of our animals, as well as the integrity of our pre-clinical studies.</p><p> </p><p>In this role, primary <b>responsibilities </b>include: </p><p> </p><ul><li>Dissecting and evaluating animal tissues for pathologists.</li><li>Weigh and document all abnormalities of the organs.</li><li>Euthanize animals prior to performing the necropsy.</li></ul><p> </p></div></div><div><div><div><b>Key Elements</b></div> </div><div><p> </p><p>We are looking for the following minimum<b> qualifications</b> for this role: </p><p> </p><ul><li>Collegial Diploma in Animal Health or any other Biology related field.</li><li>Dissection experience (asset).</li><li>Good observation skills. </li><li>Able to work physically (lift up to 20 kg, walk, stand, stoop, etc.).</li><li>Understanding of written English is mandatory. Bilingualism French and English is preferable.</li></ul><p> </p><p><b>Role Specific Information: </b></p><p><br>Location: Senneville / Free parking / Free shuttle service from Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue train station and John Abbott College to the Senneville site.<br>Salary: Starting at $21.50/hrs.<br>Annual bonus based on performance plan.<br>Schedule: Monday to Friday, mostly days with occasional evenings.
