We are looking for a *full-time Accounting Technician* at our St. John?s Head Office. *Schedule* * Monday to Friday * 9:00 am to 5:00 pm *Role & Responsibilities* * Perform accounts receivable function for various companies in the group including producing AR statements to send to customers on a monthly basis. * Monthly collection duties as required. * Resolve account discrepancies. * Customer files maintenance. * Assist with billings as required. * Liaise with various departments to obtain sales reports. * Review daily cash control sheets as required. * General ledger entries as required to post daily sales and other adjustments. * Experience with payroll is an asset. * Other office duties as may be required. *Key Competencies* * Ability to multitask and meet changing deadlines is essential. * Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word). * Background in accounting software is required. * Excellent oral and written communication skills. * Detail oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy. * Highly organized and flexible. * Must be self directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision. * Maintains staff confidentiality.
