This position requires teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to food safety standards. *Duties* * Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. * Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices. * Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including cooking stations and equipment. * Follow food safety guidelines for handling, storage, and sanitation. * Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours. * Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. * Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. *Experience* * Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. * Familiarity with food handling practices and knowledge of food safety regulations. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards. * Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. * A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques in meal preparation.
