*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment by implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, and providing training to staff. This role is essential in promoting a culture of safety within the organization, particularly in construction settings. *Responsibilities* * Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. * Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards. * Provide training and support to employees on safety practices, emergency procedures, and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). * Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. * Collaborate with management to develop safety programs that promote a safe working environment. * Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions. * Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations related to workplace safety. * Utilize construction management software to track safety compliance and report findings effectively. *Qualifications* * Proven experience as a Safety Officer or similar role in the construction industry is preferred. * Strong knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices. * Familiarity with construction management software is a plus. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to train others effectively. * Strong analytical skills to assess risks and develop effective solutions. * Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for maintaining accurate records. * Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is highly desirable.
