Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: On-site customer service. Commercial. Industrial. Institutional. Residential. Rural area. Urban area. Work in employer's/client's home. Tasks: Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered. Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements . Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding. Prepare flooring plans and scheduling. Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings. Estimate costs and materials. Prepare floors for installations. Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants. Install vinyl decking materials. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Ability to distinguish between colours. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.- LocationMississauga, ON
